Menard Solution
The project consists of a Private Villa at al Qurum area in Muscat – Oman including a basement floor with raft foundation and basement walls. The depth of foundation excavation is about 5m +/- 1m in additional to seven (7) different locations/buildings with different ground levels located inside the villa premises.
Upon reviewing the soil report Menard had decided to use Rapid Impact Compaction “RIC” to improve the soil at the villa plot and surrounding buildings to homogenize the soil underlaying the future villa. A total area of 11,000 m2 was improved in less than 6 working days which saved a considerable time to the client and owner.
